Russell didn't just perfect the sweatshirt, they invented it! In Alexander City, Alabama, company founder Benjamin Russell had the idea of introducing the first cotton sweater to replace the less comfortable all wool garments that were generally used for sport and exercise. This was way back in 1920, and since that date they really have perfected the product.
The 80% combed ringspun cotton within the 3 layer fabric content of this sweatshirt gives it a premium feel. A little bit different to the other sweatshirts that are about because it has a V-Neck opposed to the standard crew neck, I think this makes it look quite smart and could be used to wear in the office as an alternative to your standard knitwear". With a set in sleeve, straighter cut for a contemporary look, slimmer shoulders and leaner cut to the arms you can wear this garment for work or leisure in the knowledge that you'll look your best.
